Weather

We have a weather station located on the Sloane Beach clubhouse. This position is sheltered from Easteries, but should give accurate readings for most other wind directions. Note that the unit internally updates once every 48s. The wind speed is internally calculated as an average over these 48 seconds. This data is then transmitted to a PC every 48 seconds, and the average and maximum values over a 3 minute period then used to update the Weather Underground data every 3 minutes.
